1 Samuel 12:20-22

The Voice

Samuel: ²⁰ Don’t be frightened. It is true that you have done evil, but never stop following the Eternal One. Serve Him completely, ²¹ and do not follow empty things that do not have the power to benefit or save you. They are worthless. ²² For the sake of His reputation, He will not cast away His chosen people. Before you ever chose Him, the Eternal One chose you as His own because it pleased Him.
